A needed alternative in a moment of crisis
Meridien Wellness addresses a critical gap and Greater Richmond‘s behavioral health crisis system by providing a community-based space to de-escalate, assess, stabilize, and connect people to the appropriate level of care.
More than an alternative to the emergency department of hospitalization, Meridien Wellness offers a thoughtful, deeply human approach that meets each person where they are and respond to what they actually need, with the intention of helping every client move forward the care and support that is right for them

Crisis care, without the hospital.
We offer continuous assessment, observation, crisis, intervention, and care planning in a safe, non-hospital setting.
Psychiatric evaluation on admission allows us to determine the appropriate level of care and what support comes next.
Thoughtful care, coordination, safety planning, health, literacy, support, and warm, handoffs help patients return safely and successfully to community care.
